Routine appointments
We offer pre-bookable face-to-face and telephone appointments with our team of doctors and nursing colleagues. Not only can you usually choose a face to face or telephone appointment; you can also book your appointments using your patient online access platform or via a telephone call to our reception team. Our telephone system offers you a very convenient call-back facility thereby avoiding you hanging on whilst at the same time keeping your place in the queue.
Urgent Appointments
We continue to operate our ‘Same Day Service’ clinics for urgent ‘on the day’ problems. These appointments are face-to-face unless you tell us you would like a telephone consultation, we leave the choice entirely with you. We usually offer anywhere between 30 to 35 ‘Same Day Service’ appointments each day so to help us see as many people as we safely can, we ask for your help in discussing the most urgent problem with the doctor for this type of appointment. Please do book a routine appointment for any further issues.

RGPA Hub
HUB SURGERIES
The Richmond GP Alliance (RGPA) “Hub” was created in 2015 and was designed to extend access to routine GP appointments.
In Richmond, all GP practices work together to provide additional booked appointments at evening and weekends. These appointments are available at two conveniently located “hubs” in the borough.
If we (Glebe Road) are unable to offer you an appointment with a GP our reception team will look to offer you an appointment at one of the 2 hubs. These additional appointments will suit anyone who needs an appointment on the same day or unable to see a GP during normal working hours.
Home Visits
THE CLINICIAN WILL MAKE A HOME VISIT ONLY AFTER FIRST ASSESSING THE LEVEL OF RISK SURROUNDING COVID-19 INFECTION. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE CONTACTED BY TELEPHONE AND THE CLINICIAN WILL DISCUSS POSSIBLE OPTIONS DURING YOUR CONVERSATIONS.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOUR REQUEST FOR A HOME VISIT MAY NOT BE APPROVED DEPENDING ON YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES, HOWEVER YOU WILL BE GIVEN A SET OF OPTIONS IN DEALING WITH YOUR SPECIFIC HEALTH NEED AT THE TIME YOU SPEAK WITH THE CLINICIAN.
