Repeat Prescriptionsblue_yellow

If you are on regular repeat medication you may send or leave a request for your prescription using the green counterfoil or a request slip which can be downloaded here. A stamped addressed envelope should be enclosed with postal requests.

Alternatively you can order online via the link at the top of this page. New users to the system are required to complete a simple registration.

To avoid errors requests for prescriptions cannot be taken over the phone or by email.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.

Repeat Dispensing

Some patients may be able to register for Repeat Dispensing so that several repeat descriptions can be issued at one time and taken to the Pharmacy who will dispense them as necessary. Please make an appointment to see one of the doctors if you would like to be considered for this.

Hospital Prescriptions

NHS Prescriptions issued by hospitals are only valid in the hospital pharmacy. Requests for private prescriptions or NHS hospital prescriptions to be issued from the practice need to be individually assessed by the responsible partner. This can result in delay and the issuing of an alternative medication. Some such requests may need to be declined.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
