Glebe Road Surgery Patient Participation Group

Patients – and improving health – are at the very heart of everything we do here at Glebe Road surgery.

Since 1972, GP surgeries in England have set up Patient Participation Groups (PPG) made up of patients, doctors and other staff working together to make sure that patients have a voice in how the practice is run, strengthening the relationship between the Practice and its patients.

Our group here at Glebe Road has run for many years and meets every other month in the surgery. The meetings are Chaired by one of the patient group members and are attended by Annalisa, our Practice Manager, at least one GP Partner, and a group of volunteer patients. Other staff members support the role of the PPG and attend meetings when we are discussing their area of work.

If you would like to find out more about what your PPG has been doing or have anything you’d like us to raise at the next meeting, please contact the Chair via the practice email . Rest assured patients details are always kept anonymous in both the meetings and on the minutes.
